Olivia Wilde has made it clear that she wants to tell her own story – but she continues to be called upon by other characters.

Wilde, 38, has made headlines once again this week after a bombshell interview with her ex-nanny, named Erika Genaro by TMZ, about her split from Jason Sudeikis and subsequent joining Harry Styles.

Among the revelations claiming that Sudeikis had gone insane and that Wilde had blocked her car with her body, and that Wilde had given up his dog to spend more time with his new boyfriend, was what seemed to overwhelm Sudeikis: Wilde took his special salad and dressing and dumped him and his friends. he did. Two kids to have dinner with Styles.

Finally, after online commentators and the media spent more than a day guessing what was inside this magical suit, Wilde took to Instagram to describe the collapse of the late journalist and filmmaker’s marriage to Carl, from Nora Ephron’s story novel à clef “Heartburn.” published a page. Bernstein.

The photograph revealed a simple, three-ingredient sauce—olive oil, red wine vinegar, Gray Poupon—but it was hard not to read the words at the top of the page, too.

“Because if I tell the story I can make you laugh, and I’d rather you laugh at me than feel sorry for me,” writes Ephron. “Because if I tell the story, it won’t hurt that much. Because if I tell the story, I can go on.”

No one ever said that Wilde wasn’t an understanding narrator.

Wilde insisted that there was no overlap between Sudeiki and Styles when promoting the movie “Don’t Worry Darling,” which he directed and linked to Styles in recent months.

“The idea that I was leaving Jason for Harry is completely false,” she told Vanity Fair. “Our relationship was over long before I met Harry.

“Like any relationship that does, it doesn’t end overnight. Unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road and officially ended the relationship. [COVID-19] pandemic,” he continued. “We were raising two children during the lockdown, so we co-parented throughout that time.”

Looks like Sudeikis was on a different page. According to the nanny, the actor only discovered that Wilde was seeing Styles when he found messages between them on his Apple watch.

“I was shocked to see Olivia holding hands with Harry on the news, just like when she was in Los Angeles a month ago when she sent Jason messages saying she loves him,” Genaro told the Daily Mail. She said she let him listen to her voice memos and voicemails.

“Then Jason said, ‘He was just here. [at the house], and she was naked in the pool and then she lay naked in bed with me,” said the nanny. “She was sending him voicemails telling him he had everything.”

Representatives of Sudeikis and Wilde were not available for comment.

Genaro’s comments support the Special Page from January 2021, when sources claim their relationship actually lasted until October 2020, leaving “Saturday Night Live” vet Sudeikis distraught.

The nanny said that Wilde talked about marriage with Sudeikis until October 2020, but broke up with the actress a month later.

The nanny also claims that Wilde sent mixed messages to Sudeikis before she left.

Genaro said Wilde’s supposed love bombing sent “a lot of mixed messages” to Sudeikis.

“How is it that he’s in this relationship and a month later he’s holding hands with a different person in front of everyone?” said.

Styles and Wilde were first spotted holding hands at their manager’s wedding in January 2021.

Genaro even claimed to the Daily Mail that actress Florence Pugh met with her co-star Styles in “Don’t Worry Darling” before she started dating Wilde. The nanny said in a video interview that Sudeikis told her that “Flo loves Harry”.

As Page Six previously explained, Pugh did not get along with Wilde during filming. Pugh’s representatives were unavailable for comment.

While many internet commentators were critical of Wilde being seen with Styles at concerts across the country, Wilde and Sudeikis’ children, 6-year-old Daisy and 8-year-old Otis, spent a lot of time with Sudeikis in London, where Sudeikis was filming. The new season of the Apple TV hit “Ted Lasso”.

Earlier this month, Wilde told Elle magazine: “I am sharing custody of my children with my ex. If I’m photographed and not with my kids, people will think I’ve abandoned them, as if my kids are somewhere in a hot car without me. The suggestion is that I’m abandoning my role as a mother. Do you know why you don’t see me with my kids? Because I don’t allow their pictures to be taken. Do you know what I went through to protect my children from being seen by you?”

According to texts shared by the nanny, Wilde chose to stay at a “child-prohibited” Palm Springs hotel during the filming of “Don’t Worry Darling” in November 2020.

According to Genaro, Sudeikis was more of a hands-on parent than Wilde (seen here with Styles).

“Apparently Daisy is not allowed on the property of the hotel where I stayed in PS,” Wilde’s text says.

The nanny said in her video that Sudeikis is “more practical than Olivia” with kids. “Jason always knew about the kids’ schedule or used to ask me,” she said.

He added that the couple shared in Los Angeles after they left home, with the actress checking into the nearby $1,650 Paramour Estate Hotel while she was busy filming “Don’t Worry Darling.”

“Sometimes he’d come to dinner with the kids, almost never, hop in hop out – I’d call them ‘hop ins’… once or twice a week maybe three pushes,” Genaro said. “Jason was taking care of himself, going to therapy, and trying really hard to get him back. He wanted to take it back.”

In April, Wilde was given custody papers as he took the stage to introduce “Don’t Worry Darling” at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

At the time, Sudeikis told Page Six that she had “no prior knowledge” of the ambush and “would never condone her being served so inappropriately.”

But Wilde didn’t have that. “In any other workplace, this would be seen as an attack. It was really frustrating. This was not supposed to happen,” he later told Variety. “There has been a major breach in security that is truly frightening. With a few badges you’ll have to jump through the obstacles to get into that room, plus special COVID tests that had to be taken days in advance, which gave you the necessary wristbands to access the event – something to think about beforehand. ”

She described the move as “sabotage” and added: “But unfortunately, it wasn’t entirely surprising to me. I mean, there’s a reason why I broke up with that relationship.”

Remarkably, Sudeikis and Wilde were united in launching a defense against Genaro. The former couple told Page Six in a statement: “As parents, it is incredibly saddening to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and heinous accusations against us.

“His 18-month campaign to harass us, our loved ones, close friends and colleagues has reached its unfortunate climax. Now we will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children in the hope that he will choose to leave our family alone.”

Efforts to reach Genaro for comment were unsuccessful.

A source familiar with the couple said, “The statement says it all. They didn’t get together for anything but their kids.

“This woman was trying to taint them as people but more importantly as parents, and the fact that they’re a united front on this issue tells you everything.”

Wilde, on the other hand, claims that people question his side of the story because of their gender. “There are very different standards created for men and women – we’re not just talking about Hollywood in the world in general,” he told Stephen Colbert.

Wilde told Variety, “In the last two years, my family has gone through this kind of restructuring and a revolution in what should have been a purely personal experience. The most painful part of it was women embarrassing me for a decision I made for my own health and happiness.”
