In the upcoming adaptation of Soman Chainani’s popular book series of the same name, Charlize, 47, plays Lady Lesso, head of the Evil School, while Kerry, 45, plays Professor Dovey, head of the School for Good.

The book is the first of a six-part saga published by Chainani and instantly became a New York Times bestseller when published in 2013.

The series has sold over 2.5 million copies and has been translated into 30 languages, and the final book in the series, “The School of Good and Evil: One True King,” was published by HarperCollins in 2020.

Charlize didn’t throw any punches as she said she believed her star power was less valid now than before.

He explained: ‘I’ll say it used to be like this, to have some of that fame so you could do the shit you really want to do.
